About This Activity

Head out from Dubai in a comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser on this adventurous 7-hour desert safari towards the Fossil Rock Desert. Upon arrival, experience 30 minutes of extreme dune bashing. Feel the excitement mount as the 4x4 rides over the steep dunes. Marvel at the sight of Fossil and Camel rocks as the light begins to wane. Take photos with the endless desert and the sun setting in the background, feel the fine sand slipping between your fingers as you make your way to the Desert camp. Here you will be welcomed with flavorful Arabic tea and coffee with dates and soft drinks to quench your thirst. Feel the culture by dressing up in traditional attire and take selfies as the Henna artist paints your hand. This will be followed by Tanoura show (traditional folk dance), Fire show and dinner. Enjoy your meal watching the beautiful belly dancer perform to the rhythm of Arabic Music. Travel and experience the Arabic hospitality in this once in a lifetime Desert Safari experience in Dubai. Wow! What an amazing place ❤️

UAE’s history frozen in time! Fossil Rock is an amazing destination in the UAE for so many reasons: 1. It’s only about 1 hour from Dubai (2 hours from Abu Dhabi) 2. You can dune bash your way there (or for the non 4x4s, you can stick to the gravel roads) 3. Great for camping! 4. Hiking (we didn’t have time, so we are definitely going back) 5. Phenomenal views - dunes, sunset and sunrise 6. It’s full of fossils trapped in time! The formation reveals information about the planet and early species, with marine fossils dotting the crevices.

Great/Adventurous

Great/Adventurous place for hiking. Not recommended for beginners & I Recommend not to start hiking on dark. We have spotted a snake on March 2021.
