Liwa is pure Lawrence of Arabia! It is straight out of Seven Pillars of Wisdom. It is like nowhere else in the Emirates. The sheer scale of it will 'take your breath away'. It is well worth the trip to get there. I recommend staying a few days in a local hotel.
