It was ok
It’s was an experience to take a look inside the Burj al Arab. The atrium is a sight to behold.
The suites that we were taken around to experience were great to see but it seems strange that there is a royal suite and “the most expensive suite” but they’re not used.
The staff were attentive and clearly wanted to tell you about the hotels history and its making which was very interesting.
I don’t feel I need to visit again.
I would recommend it as something interesting to visit but just all felt very fake.

Gem of the Middle East
Third time (visit) is an even bigger charm. Burj Al Arab is the crown of Jumeirah, and is worth every praise heaped upon it.
This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the 20th floor overlooking Jurmeirah’s private beach and other Jumeirah resorts that can be accessed via a buggie (or on foot). The suite is over 3,300 square feet spanning over two levels (each hotel floor has 2 levels). Floor to ceiling (of the upper level) windows provide a panoramic view of the resorts/beaches/ocean below. The two bedrooms are in the back of on the lower and upper levels, each bedroom connected to a private full bathroom. Our suite includes a third half bathroom connected to the dining room, with each of the bathrooms stocked with goodies (Hermes soaps/perfume/shampoo/conditioner/body wash, etc). The rooms are meticulously cleaned (multiple times a day if you wish) and are restocked with beverages. Each day we received an appreciation gift from the hotel that is elegant and thoughtful.
The food at the Burj Al Arab is among the best you can have at a hotel, certainly the best among the 50+ 5 star hotels I have stayed at. Breakfast at the Sal has cuisines from multiple countries (American, multiple European, Chinese, Japanese, Arab, etc). My parents whom are very picky eaters could not stop complimenting their breakfast. I highly recommend booking a suite that includes breakfast for two, which covers breakfast at the Sal. It is definitely worth the extra charge. The hotel also has several restaurants on the first floor, we had dinner at Ristorante L' Olivo, which is on the first floor behind a floor to ceiling salt water fish tank that surrounds the restaurant. The food and ambience are both spectacular. I recommend trying the 7 course meal which is filling but not too heavy and gives you a taste of the restaurant’s main dishes, including blue fin tuna, waygu beef cheeks, lobster, etc.
The hotel has multiple amenities, an indoor infinity pool on the 18th floor, a gym and yoga room on the second level of the 18th floor, and two outside swimming pools on the back side of the hotel. The inner pool is 55m long and the outer infinity pool is 90m long. Talise spa is also located on the 18th floor and have offer some of the best massages I have ever had (from someone whom gets weekly massages).
What makes Burj Al Arab truly amazing is its staff, everyone from our driver to our porter to the people whom cleaned our room are friendly and are capable of carrying meaningful conversations. Special thanks to our butler Anthony whom found out it was my parent’s anniversary on the first night of our stay, and managed to give my parents a cake and flowers. You made their day (with no prep time), and now they want to come back every year. As an employer whom has hired hundreds of employees, I applaud the hotel’s hiring committee for finding such exceptional employees. As a third time guest of Burj Al Arab, I recommend this hotel to anyone whom has an opportunity to stay at this gem.
