Russia visa requirements
- Original Passport valid for at least 6 months. Properly signed by the bearer.
- One (1) Passport Size Photo with white background. (Photoshoot available in our office.)

- Normal Process: 4-6 working days
- Express Process: 4 working days
- Emergency Process: 2 working days
Dear Applicants, when applying for a Russian visa please be advised that:
- Non-UAE citizens should also provide proof of legality of their staying in UAE (residence visa; entry stamp for the citizens of the countries maintaining a visa-free regime with UAE) when applying for a visa.
- In accordance with Russian laws citizens of the Russian Federation regardless of any other citizenship they may have are treated as a Russian citizens only and must travel to Russia on valid Russian documents only.
- Visa processing starts only after the Consular Section has collected all necessary documents (including payment).
- Visa processing fee is not refundable.
- Type of visa or dates of entry/departure cannot be changed or extended. If your travel plans have changed after the visa issuance you have to reapply for a new visa.
- After you have received your visa, please check all the data indicated in it and, if necessary, return it to the Embassy for corrections. The Consular Section will not be responsible for any mistakes in the visas, which were not brought to our attention prior to your departure from the UAE.
- Any visa applicant may be interviewed by the Consular Officer, if necessary.
- Processing time, requirements and fees are subject to change without notice.
- In certain cases the Consular Section is entitled to consider visa applications as long as it necessary. Visa can be denied if the Consular Section has serious reasons to believe that an applicant’s entry into or stay in the territory of the Russian Federation will not be desirable.
- Please be advised that person cannot have two valid visas in one passport. In this case the first visa is to be cancelled.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Travel to Russia requires an entry visa. The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and Northern Emirates issues different categories of visas to Russia based upon the purpose of the trip and duration of stay.
- Application
- Valid national passport (original only and it should have at least two clear visa pages). It must be valid not less than six months after the visa expiration date.
- One picture of an applicant (passport size) should be glued to the visa application.
- Visa support document;
- Medical insurance
- Travel document (flight ticket, etc.), confirming the dates of the trip;
- Copies of the passport and residence permit;
- Paid Cash Deposit Slip (to be given to you by the Consular Officer after familiarizing with the set of documents).
